Learning is Fun!:
 SM Foundation Receives Books from WPS Publishing

SHARING IS FUN! Representatives from WPS Pacific Publishing, Inc., Stationery at The SM Store and SM Foundation during the turn over ceremony of Learning is Fun Book Donation. Children from hospitals, health centers and charitable institutions will benefit from WPS’ contribution.

Pasay City –A total of 8,344 books were donated by WS Pacific Publishing, printer of Learning is Fun! books on Friday, November 5.

In a ceremonial turnover event via Zoom, WS Pacific Publishing Vice-President and General manager, Cecille Berces handed over the books to SM Foundation and SM Stationery representatives Connie Angeles and Jessalyn Uy.

Last September, The SM Store launched the Donate A Book Program. This year, the annual book drive also involved schools and other organizations aside from shoppers to share the joy of learning with children in far-flung areas. 

The books from Learning is Fun! will benefit patients of The Philippine Children’s Medical Center; Philippine General Hospital’s Children’s Ward and Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center. Health centers such as Smokey Mountain Health Center and Tondo Foreshore Super Health Center are also among the beneficiaries, as well as wards from charitable institutions of Asociacion De Damas De Filipinas and SOS Children’s Village.
